Do I have to use wood chip bedding for my bunnies cage?

Ok, so i watched a video about a veteranarian saying that woodchip bedding can give rabbits respitory problems, and im wondering if
i can just leave the plastic bottom as it is without it.

You don’t have to but it is the best bedding suited for rabbits
