can i put a african grey in the same cage with a umbrella cockatoo? Would they make good companions?

I have the opportunity to take in a african grey complete with cage as the owner is moving and cannot take – but I already have an umbrella cockatoo – can the two breeds be placed together? Or would it be best to keep them in separate cages?

Keep them separate. They don’t know each other, and bigger birds tend to be VERY territorial. They’ll also bond to you more if they’re separate. Put the cages next to each other so that the birds wont get lonely, and you should have two happy birds!
