Practical and unique photo ornament for the Christmas tree?

I want to make an ornament out of a normal 4×6 photo. All of the ornaments I’ve seen at Hallmark and other places are too small, for little tiny photos. I want something simple and attractive. Does anybody know of a good way to make a picture ornament from a normal sized photo?

Try going to personalcreations.com. I know they have all different types of ornaments. You send your picture in and then they make it for you. You could also take the photo and glue onto a piece of cardboard or a piece of wood cut out a little bigger then the photo. Drill a hole at the top for your string to go through. Take some ribbon or fake Christmas lights and glue it around the photo to frame it. You could also add little snowmen or other Christmas decorations. To protect the photo buy the paper that goes of the pictures to protect them. I am not sure what it is called but they sale it in the scrapebooking section.
