My Hayward H150 pilot is lit but it will not ignite, any ideas?
In the past I’ve been able to get the heater to ignite by tapping on the front header assy (ussually on the outlet side). I suspect a flow control or thermostat problem but I’m not familiar with how the heaters actually work.
it could be pressure switch , thermostat ,roll out sensor high limits, thermostat, it could be that you have poor water flow and it is not closing the pressure switch inside the heater. it could also be your gas valve, not opening and letting your main burners fire up better find a good repair man and not a pool cleaner fix your problem.
