Ok lets say i have an adult parakeet that my grandmother gave to me a couple months ago and i have need you!?

I am getting a baby parakeet in about a month and i was wondering if she would be ok with the other one? She has been with several other birds in the last couple months at my grandmas.

I am getting a separate cage for the new baby parakeet will josie(other keet) still be ok?

Should i get my baby parakeet a thermo perch from pet-smart to keep her warm? Or just weave her a nest like i do with josie?

If the baby can stand on a perch on its own and has all its feathers it shouldn’t need a thermo perch any more than Josie does. Josie might get a little bit jealous of the new baby budgie. If you’re planning on introducing them to each other at some point, place the cages next to each other so they can interact through the bars without anybody getting hurt… eventually, you should be able to safely introduce the baby into Josie’s cage, or vice versa.
