how is this for a diet? please help!?
i’m fifteen years old, and i weight 220 lbs, i am 5’10 and 3/4 i want to lose 100 lbs
breakfeast: one banana
through out the day i drink about 3-4 bottles of water
then around 3: salad bowl:
lettuce
one chicken cutlet, shredded
table spoon of cheese
light cesar dressing
half a hand of crutons
and then around 6 a vine of grapes
plus exercise 4 days a week – cardio and light weight work
will this work? i want to lose 60 lbs by may
is this possible? any tips?
you cannot survive on a diet of one banana and a salad, you are just setting yourself up to fail because you will get so hungry you will overeat. Eat a sensible meal plan, watch the calories, fat and fiber, and cut down on portion sizes. I’ve been doing Weight Watchers points system since the end of December and I’m down 20 pounds. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot, but if you try to take it off sensibly it will come off slower but stay off. You have to do something that you can live with the rest of your life. What about if you go out with friends, or holidays? What will you do then? That’s why I like the points system, because you can eat anything you want as long as you count the points and don’t go over your points for the day. But like I said it has to be something you can do the rest of your life, not just something you do for a few months to lose weight because when you go back to eating other things then you gain all the weight back. Can you eat one banana and a salad every day the rest of your life? I don’t think so. Your body will think you’re starving it and will shut down your metabolism to conserve calories so you don’t starve to death. Do something that you can do the rest of your life.
