Their prices are usually decent.

My mother has a cranky, ancient cockatiel who will tolerate nothing other than those plain, old dowel perches. He won’t touch anything else and never has. However, I’m of the opinion that “natural” is better for their feet and their minds…so I’d look for something more like this:

The rope perches are also excellent. My little red-bellied parrot uses and enjoys both.

I’ve seen parakeets enjoy the kind of perch you linked, but I’ve never seen cockatiels really get “into” them.
