My cat is littering in the children play area, how do i prevent it from going there?

I live in an apartment, and i have a pet cat, its littering in the childrens play area. I do not keep it holed up in our flat and its free to move outside whenever it feels like without any escort. Kindly advise if there is any way i can prevent my cat from going to the childrens play area for littering.
Any spray or any other advise please…….

Your cat has become other peoples problems because you wont keep it inside. Our cats are inside cats and have litter trays in the laundry so we dont have any problems for other people, neighbours etc. Cats should not be out at night either.
Cat poop in a childs sandpit is the PITS !!
Its part of a pet owners responsibility to ensure your cat isnt a burden on others. There are far too many cat haters out there who would happily dispose of a problem cat if they saw it being a nuisance and affecting the safety of their children.
You have decisions to make and buying a spray for a communal childs sandpit wont help.
