Which room is best for the parakeet? ?
I am getting parakeets for christmas. I really want to have them in my room, but my dad is afraid of the noise/mess level at night and doesn’t want anyone to be kept up.
Pros and Cons of my room :
Pros: I can let them fly around. They are more mine then the families.
Cons: They can keep me up at night. make my room a mess.
My dad wants them downstaires so that they don’t keep him up. We spend a lot of time down there. It is like the family room.
Pros: I can be with them more. Won’t keep me up.
Cons : Become the family birds when I am doing all the work. My brother will let them out and lose them.
Considering all of this. Which is better? And please tell me your experiances and where you put them and how it worked out. and also where the parakeets like to be. THANKS SO MUCH!
you wont have to worry about them keeping you up at night as they are awake during the day and sleep at night. I keep mine in my room with no problems. Make sure at night you put a light blanket over them to make sure they arent distracted by anything and go to sleep. Now they are messy animals so I would recommend getting a cage skirt.
