Hot weather menu ideas?
I am having 2 couples and 5 kids 4-9yr range for dinner last minute. It has been real hot and this is last weekend b4 kids start school. One of the couple has been helping us out with some house projects so I’d like to do something nicer. I think we’re all a bit tired of bbq although I’m open. I was thinking something lobster? I have a recipe for a great lobster pie with a bit of tarragon it tastes springy and fresh. My fear is it will be too heavy esp with pastry topping or just too hot?? I am also looking for a lobster salad also but am not sure that will be hearty enough as a main course. Maybe just lobsters on the grill? I’m really open to everything and may have to do a seperate something for the kids. Any ideas helpful..as long as yummy easy and my guest feel a bit spoiled!!!
it’s good idea for pastry..it’s not too hot and not to heavy…just bake them in 210 degree celcius in 20 min.
