Best type & brand of wine with poultry (Cornish Hens)? Not too expensive please, poor college students here.?
This is a very tough question really. It depends on if your dish is going to be citrusy, sweet, sour, savory etc. Usually a dry white works best. like a Chardonnay. Something like Toasted Head is available and cheap around campuses all over. Since you are a college student, I am sure you have your pal bartender around town no? Go ask them to slide you a cup of wine into a to go cup and use that. if you want to drink it with dinner also go with a liter since it will be cheaper and there is more.
Try to accentuating ingredients with the dish. things like lemons, capers, rosemary, tarragon, butter etc. Simply and cheap things really. It will be fantastic. Just remember to cook out the alcohol so it isn’t too “winey”.

Pastured Poultry $58.94 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Pastured poultry is a sustainable agriculture technique that calls for the raising of laying chickens, meat chickens (broilers), and/or turkeys on pasture, as opposed to indoor confinement. The perceived health benefits of pastured poultry, and grassfed animals in general, in addition to superior texture and flavor are causing an increase in demand for such products. Joel Salatin of Swoope, Virginia, helped to reintroduce the technique at Polyface Farm, and wrote his book Pastured Poultry Profits to spread the idea to other farmers. Andy Lee and Herman BeckChenowith expanded on Salatins techniques, and created some of their own. The American Pastured Poultry Producers Association (APPPA) was formed to promote pastured poultry. Its membership consists largely of pastured poultry farmers. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F.
