How do you stop squirrels from eating all the seeds in a hanging birdfeeder?
It seems they climb-out on the branch where the feeder hangs…and shake it for something. Thanks in advance for any advice or ideas.
my aunt did something interesting; she attached a rope from a tree to the house and hung the feeder in the middle.
then took two 2 liter soda bottles(empty) drilled a hole in the bottom and threaded the rope through so a bottle was on both sides of the feeder.
when the squirls walked along the rope they’d get to the bottles clime on and the bottle would roll over and they’d fall off.
