hen feather loss?

Hi, My hybrid hen is just one and last july she did the usual summer malt, but her back feathers have never grown back. there are black dots where they are threatening to but they never appear!

Ive read books and it always suggests hen pecking- she was the one pecked but maybe 11 months ago when they fist got themselves established. Diet- it says a protein deficiency, they are fed organic layers pellets, organic corn, chicken spice mixture and are out allday free range in a forest….. I dont think I can dso any more diet wise. But her pure back looks sore as it is red, seems hardened. Any advice muchly appreciated.

it could be a skin infection or mites but you should definately take her to the vets as im sure it cannot be comfortable it could also be old age as well as they do start losing feathers the older they get .
