Styling natural afro hair?
My hair has tight corkscrew afro curls which I would like to style in different ways but most of the websites I have already looked at seem heavy on sponsorship and advertising and light on actual good quality images and writing. And those that have any tips seem to only talk about braiding which I don’t want to do.
Can anybody recommend a website that has images and information on ways to style natural (not chemically processed) afro hair.
Magazine recommendations would also be helpful. I live in London so I would need to be available to buy them in the UK.
Does anybody know why there is so little information available? Maybe this is one for a debate.

Prepare your hair for your hair style by giving your hair what it needs to be stronger and healthier for the hair style that you chose!
Steps
If your hair naturally curly, you should stop washing it with shampoos that contain sodium laureth/lauryl & ammonium laureth/lauryl sulfate, they dry out the hair terribly, making your hair puffier, and bigger.
Use a wide toothed comb to detangle hair when wet.
Use a good moisturzing conditioner.
If you can, try not to use silicones, they build up on the hair, and you need sufates to remove them, which dry out your hair. Any ingredient that ends in -cone or -xane is a silicone.
Use a a diffuser if you blowdry your hair.
If you do shampoo, use ones with ingredients like these: Apricotamidopropyl Betaine and Cocoamidapropyl Betaine. Activate makes a good one.
DON’T TOUCH YOUR HAIR WHILE IT’S DRYING!
