I need a new cockatiel cage (immediately),can someone help?
Well this may sound bad, but I have two cockatiels in a 18″ by 18″ by 26″ cage. At first my aunt said one would be fine in that size (she had them for years) but then my OTHER aunt gave me one as a present when I had just gotten a bred one. So now I am looking for a cage no bigger than 26″ by 22″ by 36″ (36″ height without stand). I would also like a stand but not the kind that has legs like this:

I know that even a cage with the new dimensions is still small for 2, but for now I’ll have to use it until i can buy a bigger one. One more thing, I don’t want a playtop.
It’s good to hear you’re looking for a larger cage – 18″ by 18″ by 26″ is very small for two! In fact for two birds you might really want to look for a cage even bigger than the size you hope to find. I know space can be a factor though, so at least make sure your guys get lots of ‘out’ time!
You do have some good options. As the first poster mentioned, I would try Craigslist first.
Lots of cities also have either wholesale pet supply stores or avian supply stores where you might get a good deal on a new cage.
If you give your local bird vet a call they might also be able to direct you to a source.
Just be sure you are getting a bird-safe cage … odd as it sounds, not all of the ones on the market are safe!
