What kind of wood is okay for birds? And wooden dowels?
I’ve been asking a lot of questions. I just want my future bird to be as safe and healthy as possible.
I can’t afford a large cage with a playtop, but I can afford wood to build a large playtop, similar to the small parakeet playgrounds at the pet store.
What kind of wood base can I use?
Are wooden dowels okay for them to nip at?
And what kind of wire can I use to hang things from the wood with? Or would hemp rope be safer?
