I have several bird feeders in my small backyard as I love smaller birds, how do i get rid of the pidgeons?

I love watching the chicadees, blue jays, finch and woodpeckers however the garage roof is full of pidgeons which scare away the birds I want to feed.

I know that pigeons are ground feeders, but there are ways to get rid of the pigeons with out scareing away your smaller birds. Below is a link to a site that has the information you need.
